Sale continues and a new $10 per metre area always on sale

I have also decided that I will always have a $10 per metre area for those end of bolts, super specials that can pick up and those fabrics that I have had just to darn long. Always updating online store.

Unpacking more fabric that came a bit late for the sale - open today from 2-6pm  I will be closed next Sunday the 18th as we will be away -

My DH and kids are patiently waiting for me to finish their quilts -

 mmm who else has quilts tops waiting to be sandwiched and quilted.  

Think the last count was 9 but have to admit was

having a clean up on the weekend and found another 2 quilts that I have started

and obviously 'put away' to finish later.

Another 6 weeks of weekend football and I might start having time to myself and a chance to get out into Nays Place......

And just to really scare the pants of you - 

ONLY 139 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS.....

We've had 5 days for minus degrees for the morning temperature and frost - BRRRR
it's been cold but the afternoons have been lovely.

Hello and guess who is on holidays - ME - WOO HOO

So its day 2 of my holidays and what am I doing - my blog - YEAH -

after a promise to some Brooky Girls to keep my blog updated regularly

(and yes Alison M I'm talking about you ;) ) 

 

 

So what do you do when you're on holidays and the kids are at school and the hubby is not around

well it goes a little like this

Day 1 - ... still in jammies at 10:30 am (does that set the scene)

help hubby with unblocking and cleaning the flue of the wood heater

lunch, facebook, coffee, facebook, coffee, pay some bills and then

start the challenge - finish as many UFO's as possible in the next 2 weeks

finally sewing all those hexagons together

 

BUT first

Day 2 - hair cut, clean some kids rooms (aarrgghhh) and then back to the UFO's
